Lot 7232: FDC with a cachet honoring the 50th anniversary of the motion picture, signed in ink and pencil by 16 members of the band, including: "Anna Mae Winburn, Leader of Sweethearts," "Pauline Braddy (Drums)," "Rosalind Cron," "Tiny Davis," "Rae Lee Jones," "Evelyn McGee, vocalist," "Cary Lynne, Bone," "Jean Travick—Bone," "Rosita Cruz," "Johnnie Mae Rice (Piano)," "Johnnie M. Stanshery, trumpet," "Mimy Polak (Trumpet)," "Trump Margo [Margaret Gibson]," "May Carter (1st Trumpet)," and signing on the reverse, "Helen L. Saine, alto saxophone" and "Willie Lee Wong (Band Sax)." Removably corner-mounted and matted with a second generation Teenie Harris photo of the group to an overall size of 12 x 16. Three irregular blocks of toning, otherwise fine condition.
