Lot 722: Hungarian-born musician (1881–1945) who, through his far-reaching endeavors as composer, performer, educator, and ethnomusicologist, emerged as one of the most forceful and influential creative personalities of the 20th century. Program for a performance featuring Bela Bartok and his wife Ditta Pasztory at The Town Hall in New York, 5.75 x 8.5, signed in fountain pen, "Bela Bartok" and "Ditta Pasztory Bartok." Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 14.75. In fine condition, with one tiny spot of soiling.
