Lot 702: Adler Alfred: (1870-1937) Austrian Doctor, Psychotherapist, And The Founder Of The School Of Individual Psychology. Adler’S Most Famous Concept Is The Inferiority Complex. A.L.S., Dr Alf Adler, On Two Sides Of A Printed Postcard With The Title Internationale Zeitschrift Fur Indiv[Idualpsychologie; The Remaining Text Obscured By Scuffing Caused By The Removal Of A Postage Stamp], Vienna, 27Th June 1924, To Dr. Rene Allendy In Paris, In German. Adler States That He Has Sent His Correspondent Two Of His Books, Following A Request From Dr. E. Schlesinger, And Adds That Both Books Have Already Been Translated Into English And Have Become Influential. He Continues To Add That He Looks Forward To Allendy’S Opinion Of Them And Thanks His Correspondent For His Efforts In Arranging A Speech About Individual Psychology At The Sorbonne, Further Sending A New Edition Of The Zeitschrift Fur Individualpsychologie As A Gift. Several Postal Cancellations Very Slightly Effect The Text, But Not The Signature, And The Card Is Neatly Annotated In Ink At The Base Of The Verso Of The Postcard.
