Lot 7007: American Airlines beverage menu from 1964, measuring 7 x 7 open, signed and inscribed on the left side in blue ballpoint, "To Andy Fyall and the children, from John Lennon," "Paul McCartney," "George Harrison," and "and best wishes to Debbie, Ringo Starr, xx." Light creases, some tape remnants to edges (toned tape to one corner affecting the first letter in Lennon's inscription), and a couple small edge tears affecting nothing, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, as well as a January 25, 2004 article from the The Mail on Sunday revealing that the mystery child who sat atop Lennon's shoulders on a late winter afternoon in New York's Central Park was Debbie Waugh, the recipient's then five-year-old daughter. Fyall, a New York–based British correspondent for the Daily Express, covered The Beatles' first visit to the USA in February 1964 and obtained these autographs on February 13, 1964, when the Beatles were traveling by airplane from New York to Miami for their second appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
