A 2.5 x 4 inch business card signed by former Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Dayan. The card identifies Dayan as "Chief of the Genera Staff Israel Defence Forces". That likely dates this signature to 1953-1958, when Dayan held this position in the military. Moshe Dayan (1915-1981) rose to prominence during the 1948 Arab-Israel War, in which he was appointed military commander of Jewish-controlled Jerusalem. He became Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defence Forces in 1953 and Defence Minister during the Six Day War in 1967.
