Lot 674: Hermann Hesse
Lot 674: ALS in German, signed "H. Hesse," one page on both sides of a 4.25 x 5.75 postcard depicting a cottage, June 1939. Untranslated letter to his friend, lecturer Georg Goetz in Copenhagen, thanking him for his letter though he can not write much due to poor health. In fine condition, with light soiling and adhesive remnants from the removed postage stamp.
