Lot 571: Original signed ink and water color profile sketch of the Cat in the Hat on an off-white 6.5 x 3.5 First Day Cover bearing a Christmas cachet and season's greetings for 1989, signed and inscribed in black ink, "Best Wishes…Ted!—Dr. Seuss." In fine condition, with slight rippling and fading to the cachet, and the signature a shade light.
