Lot 513: Bram Stoker and Henry Irving
LS signed “Henry Irving,” written in the hand of his secretary, Dracula author Bram Stoker, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.25 x 7, June 9, 1885. Letter to artist, traveler, and author Edward Tracy Turnerelli, in full: “I was certainly under the impression that I had acknowledged the receipt of your interesting volume, & the omission is due to pure inadvertence which I hope you will forgive. I do not forget the hearty greeting I received from you on my return from America, & I am much indebted to you for various proofs of sympathetic interest which you have sent me from time to time.” In fine condition.
