Lot 174: Judy Garland Signed Contract. A William Morris Agency contract, dated September 29, 1950, binding Garland to perform under the terms of the contract during a three-year period. Garland's contract with MGM was terminated just days before this one was signed, either because she asked to be released or because she was fired due to her unreliability on the set of Royal Wedding, depending on whom you ask. She went on to revitalize her career with live concert performances and various television specials. The contract is in Excellent condition with a horizontal fold crease and the standard binder holes punched in the top.
