Laemmle States That His Correspondent'S Letter With Suggestions Of Story Material Has Been Brought To His Attention And Continues 'Our Scenario Editor Has Just Informed Me Of The Fact That Our Scenario Department, Through Its Large Staff Of Paid Readers, Has Reached The Point Where Practically All Published Literary Works Have Been Passed Upon, And Current Literature Is Read Up To The Minute. So That Not Only Is Our Story Program For The 1930-31 Season Complete, But We Have Selected Material For Production Beyond That Date', Further Adding 'For The Reason That We Are So Far Ahead On Our Schedule We Have Decided Not To Solicit Any Further Story Suggestions, And I Am Therefore Not Passing Your Ideas Along To Our Scenario Department.
