Lot 152: (1873-1921). Italian tenor with a repertoire of over 40 operas especially remembered for his portrayal of Canio in I Pagliacci by Leoncavallo. He was one of the first to record phonograph records. Signed Postcard, sepia, 3?"x5" full-length seated painted portrait in costume. Boldly signed in black ink, some minor nicks and emulsion losses in corners as well as small tear to right, not affecting bold signature and portrait.
