Emperor Nicholas II Autograph Museum
Emperor Nicholas II Autograph Museum in Novosibirsk is the only autograph museum in Russia, named after the late Russian emperor Nicholas II to whom the city owes its appearance on the world map.
The museum was founded in 1988 in Novosibirsk, Russia.
The Emperor Nicholas II Autograph Museum collects and studies handwriting specimens of world celebrities, past and present.
The museum also deals with autographed photographs. The museum feels that the combination of handwriting and the image of the person provide an excellent visual aid for exploring the cultural features of the country the photographed person represents.
The museum’s collection is mainly made up of political autographs from many past and present world leaders including presidents, prime ministers, constitutional monarchs of Europe and heads of theocratic Asian states, charismatic leaders of popular movements and head of religious faiths.
