Turner Prize winners work to tour Scotland in bus
Work from former Turner Prize winners will tour Scotland in the Travelling Gallery from August 22.
Titled Eyes on the Prize, the show will allow people living in remote communities the chance to see work from contemporary artists like David Shrigley and Martin Boyce.
Amanda Catto, head of visual arts at Creative Scotland, explained: “The Travelling Gallery is a unique resource that takes some of the very best art to some of the harder to reach places in Scotland.
“Eyes on the Prize has been inspired by Glasgow's hosting of the Turner Prize, and brings together an excellent selection of work from artists based in Scotland who have been associated with the Prize.
“This touring exhibition is a great way to bring important works of art to new audiences…”
The Turner Prize will be held on December 7, 2015.
