Shaun the Sheep for Burton Camp Site?
Michael Hardwick, former chair of the Bristol Children's Help Society, is urging local businesses to help with the purchase of a Shaun the Sheep for the charity’s Burton Camp Site.
The site allows children from deprived backgrounds to enjoy camping and other outdoor activities.
The Shaun the Sheep trail follows on from the success of the Gromit trail in 2013 and will end in a charity auction.
Hardwick said: "I have seen how the children flock to the Shaun the Sheep on the Downs near where I live.
"It would be wonderful if a company could see its way to buying one of the Shaun's at auction and donate it to be used at Barton Camp.
"It would be of no monetary value to us of course but would of be huge value to the children. They would be absolutely delighted. I'm hoping for a big company one of the Shauns could cost a drop in the ocean for them."
