Seized Picasso painting returned to Spain
A Picasso painting seized from a boat of the Corsican coast in July has been returned to Spain.
It’s owner had attempted to export it to London without a permit.
Titled Head of a Young Woman, the work is considered to be one of the most important works of art by Picasso still in Spain and is barred from leaving the country.
It’s now being stored in the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid. A spokesperson for the museum said: "The painting will be stored in a warehouse of the museum until we know more about its destiny.”
