Check out this wonderful watercolour Maurice Sendak made for his friend's son Kiko in 1966.

The boy asked the Where the Wild Things Are author to draw him a sailboat and seagulls and Senfdak duly obliged.

It's insccribed: “To Kiko – For a nice afternoon! Maurice Sendak.”

It's $5,000-7,000 at Swann Auction Galleries.
