Of the two pieces Marcel Duchamp is mainly known for, the other being "The Fountain", this is my favourite. A true example of iconoclastic anti-art. The acronym below, and name of the piece, L.H.O.O.Q., is a pun, as the letters when pronounced in French form the sentence "Elle a chaud au cul", which when translated means "she is hot in the arse". Take that Mona!

Dada has lost all its meaning now as it's tenants have been adopted by mainstream art.
