Lot 92: SOKOLOV, PETR (1791-1848) Portrait of Count Lev Sollogub, signed. Pencil and watercolour on paper, 20 by 16 cm (paper size). The present lot is a portrait of Count Lev Aleksandrovich Sollogub (1812-1852), a diplomat, brother of the renowned writer Vladimir Sollogub (1813-1882) and acquaintance of Alexander Pushkin, Nikolai Gogol and Mikhail Lermontov. Authenticity of the work has been confirmed by the expert V. Petrov. MacDougall Arts Ltd's Russian Art Wednesday, 2nd December 2015 Estimate: £8,000-£12,000
