Lot 430: Varley (Cornelius, 1781-1873). Study of a landscape with thatched farm building, pencil on pale blue paper, heightened with white chalk, 18 x 28cm (7 x 11ins) mount aperture, framed and glazed, with mid-20th century label of Bonfiglioli, Oxford, to verso, together with Attributed to William Alfred Delamotte (1775-1863), River landscape in Switzerland, with figures on a path, and castle on a promontory, pen, ink and watercolour, some surface marks and light discolouration, 16.5 x 25cm (6.5 x 9.75ins) mount aperture, framed and glazed .
