Lot 429: After Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851). Combe Martin, Devonshire, circa 1860s, watercolour, showing boats, mules, and fisherfolk, 14 x 22.5cm (5.5 x 9ins), mounted, gilt moulded frame, glazed. The original watercolour drawing by Turner is in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. It was reproduced as an engraving in Cooke's 'Picturesque Views on the Southern Coast of England', published in 1825.
