Voy. au pole Sud et dans l'Oceanie pl. 25b. f.4.5.', sheet size 150 x 135mm (6 x 5.25ins) or similar, matching later gilt frames, glazed, with printed title label to verso, and additional label of Hazlitt, Gooden & Fox Ltd. to verso. A pair of original watercolour drawings by the important ornithologist Heinrich Reichenbach, from the extensive series of drawings prepared by him for his major ornithological work Die Vollstandigste Naturgeschichte des In und Auslandes, which appeared in fourteen volumes between 1845 and 1862.
