London's Museum of Transport launches new exhibition
London’s Museum of Transport has launched a new permanent exhibition titled London by Design.
The show will feature a wealth of material from the rich design history of London’s transit system.
It will include a collection of iconic modernist posters dating back to the early 1900s, including pieces by Man Ray and Alfred Leete, as well as work from contemporary artists.
It will also show how the design of the Underground system has evolved over time, from the signage used in stations to the fabric on the seats.
