Lichtenstein's Landscape Mobile brings $28,000 to Bonhams

Roy Lichtenstein's Landscape Mobile was among the highest selling lots at Bonhams' Prints Featuring Andy Warhol and the Rise of Pop auction, held on November 19 in London.

The piece, a porcelain and painted bronze standing mobile,was created in 1991 and is signed and dated on the base. Numbered 51/125, it sold for 17,500 ($28,183).

Lichtenstein's Woman with Peanuts led Phillips' Contemporary Art auction on November 11, selling for $10.8m.

The sale was led by a complete set of 25 etchings with aquatint by Paul Rego, entitled Nursery Rhymes.
