Art exhibition thrown in the bin by a cleaner re installed to museum
An art exhibition that was thrown in the bin by a cleaner who mistook it as mess from a party the night before has been re installed at the Museion Bozen-Bolzano Museum.
The piece is called 'Where Shall We Go Dancing Tonight?' and consists of empty champagne bottles, cigarette butts and confetti.
It was created by well known Milan artists Goldschmied and Chiari and symbolises the hedonism and political corruption of the 1980s.
The artists have given the museum permission to re install their artwork after a cleaner gathered it into individual bin bags.
It is due to go back on display later today.
