Andy Warhol's Money Hat to auction on November 11
Andy Warhol’s Money Hat is expected to make $800,000-1.2m at Nye and Company Auctioneers.
The work dates to 1972 and consists of a straw hat adorned with $10 bills.
The artist gave it as a gift to a friend, Dr Robert Giller.
Auctioneer John Nye explains: "It is not every day that an undiscovered work by Warhol comes to the market, much less one in the form of a hat, so my company is elated to be able to put it before the public in this auction. We are anticipating a lot of spirited bidding."
