Andy Warhol works stolen from Slovak museum
Two works by Andy Warhol have been stolen from The Andy Warhol Museum of the Modern Art in Medzilaborce, Slovakia.
The pieces (a Campbell’s soup can and a Marilyn Monroe) were lent to a private individual, who subsequently disappeared.
The museum’s director, who approved the loan, has since been fired.
