Adolf Hitler Painting heads to auction
Although better known for his war crimes, Adolf Hitler did in fact first attempt to make his name as an artist. The paintings themselves are reasonably inoffensive (well, comparatively) but most of the value seems to stem from the fact that they were painted by Adolf bleeding Hitler.
This bowl of flowers, one of his better pieces is currently at auction at Nate D Sanders where it has an opening bid of $30,000. Will it be bought for its artistic merit or for its dark connotations? Painted circa 1912, the painting is signed by Hitler.
