2016 Turner Prize exhibition
Yes – it's my fave event in the British art calendar: The Turner Prize exhibition.
I'm going to see the four shortlisted artists' works for myself at Tate Britain next week. But I've already had a peek online, and fair to say – the pieces are as challenging as ever.
Of course, all the headlines are going to be about the massive pair of buttocks on display, courtesy of Anthea Hamilton. But my personal fave is Jospehine Pryde's The New Media Express in a Temporary Siding (Baby Wants To Ride) – a particularly British take on an American looking train: the train is stationary.
