Yale University receives interest from 17th century bond
Yale University is to receive €136.20 ($153) in interest from a permanent investment bond first drawn by Dutch water authority de Stichtse Rijnlanden in 1648.
The university bought the bond for $27,131 in 2003. It’s one of the oldest bonds to still produce interest in existence.
