The auction will also be offering letters from Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Cambridge alongside a French ships trading license signed by Napoleon.

Though the items that will create the most auction excitement are a collection of minatures depicting members of the Allen family of Bathampton, including one by leading miniature painter John Miers. In all this fine collection can be expected to bring somewhere in the region of £3,000.
