Antique Christofle vase hammers for £668k at Christies

A retired farmer has sold a vase valued at £10K on the Antiques Roadshow over 20 years ago for £668k at Christies in London. The vase is a French Japonisme enamel and bronze ornament originally made in 1874 by Christofle which was given to Terry Nurrish as a wedding gift by his mother. The vase hammered for half a million more than the auction estimate.
