Vintage Stroh’s beer snowmen are collectible items of breweriana advertising.

According to the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act’s definition, “vintage” refers to pieces manufactured within the last 100 years and can include items made as recently as the 1980s.


Stroh’s is a brand of beer originally produced by the Detroit, Michigan, US-based beer manufacturer Stroh Brewery Company.

The company was established in 1850, eventually being sold to the Pabst and Miller breweries in 2000.

Stroh’s is still produced today by Pabst.

Vintage Stroh’s beer snowmen

Vintage Stroh’s beer snowmen were items of advertising produced during the 1980s.

Some 27-inch high items, made from cardboard and foam, were designed to be placed in liquor stores.

Other, 24-inch plastic items were designed to be displayed at bars and pubs and featured illumination.
