Vintage Storz beer coolers are collectible items of breweriana advertising.

According to the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act’s definition, “vintage” refers to pieces manufactured within the last 100 years and can include items made as recently as the 1980s.

Established in 1876 in North Omaha, Nebraska, US, the brewery was at times the leading producer of beer in the state, reaching its pinnacle in the 1950’s and 1960’s.

The company produced a range of beers, including its flagship Storz Beer.

Remaining in family hands until its sale in 1966, the firm closed its doors in 1972.

Vintage Storz beer coolers

Vintage Storz beer coolers were mainly produced during the 1960s.

The 19-inch long coolers featured the slogan: “The Orchid of Beer” along the side, accompanied by a red lid and aluminium handle.
