The company was established by Harry Sinclair in 1916 through the combining of 11 small gas companies.
Originally based in New York, the company grew a strong reputation throughout the US and was acquired by ARCO in 1969, before becoming a private company in 1976.
There are currently more than 2,500 Sinclair gas stations in operation throughout the US.
Collectible vintage Sinclair signs come in a range of shapes and styles and from a variety of eras.
Among the most collectible signs are those containing’s Sinclair’s famous dinosaur logo.
