Vintage R&H beer trays are collectible items of breweriana advertising.

According to the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act’s definition, “vintage” refers to pieces manufactured within the last 100 years and can include items made as recently as the 1980s.


Rubsam & Horrmann Brewing Co, which produced R&H beer, was a US brewer based in Staten Island, New York.

The company was established in 1870 by a pair of German immigrants.

Piels bought the company in 1953 and closed the Staten Island brewery in 1963. The R&H brand also ceased during the 1960s.

Vintage R&H beer trays

Vintage R&H beer trays were produced during the 1940s.

They were made of woodgrain and featured “R&H Beer” in prominent gold lettering.

The trays were 13 inches in diameter.
