Vintage Fitger’s beer thermometers are collectible items of breweriana advertising.

According to the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act’s definition, “vintage” refers to pieces manufactured within the last 100 years and can include items made as recently as the 1980s.


Fitger’s beer was produced by the Fitger's Brewing Company, which operated from 1881 to 1972. The company was based in Duluth, Minnesota.

Following prohibition, Fitger’s came to prominence throughout the US as one of the first companies to offer canned beer.

Vintage Fitger’s beer thermometers

Vintage Fitger’s beer thermometers were produced during the 1950s and 1960s.

They feature a depiction of a beer glass and the slogan: “Everybody here likes Fitger’s beer”.

The 11.5 inch high thermometers are rare and highly collectible.

How much are vintage Fitger’s beer thermometers worth?

Good condition examples can sell for around $60 at internet auction sites such as eBay.
