Drewrys

Drewrys was established in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as the Drewry's Lake of the Woods Brewery in 1877.

The company opened a brewery in Evansville, US in the 1930’s following the end of prohibition and by 1936 all production took place on US soil.

The company was sold to the Pittsburgh Brewing Company in 1996.

Vintage Drewrys beer Mountie figures were produced mostly during the 1940s.

Often ceramic, they featured a small figure of the popular Drewrys Mountie emblem.

The came in a range of styles, often depicting the Mountie with a horse, or sometimes, astride a beer bottle.
