American Breweriana Association

The American Breweriana Association (ABA) is an educational and historical corporation founded in 1982.

Its purpose is to improve public knowledge of beer, brewing and breweriana, to serve historians and collectors, and preserve the memories and artefacts of historic breweries in the US.

There are close to 3,000 members in the US and around the world. The organisation also has a library based in Potosi, Wisconsin.

Events

The ABA and its affiliated chapters run events throughout the year. The association’s AGM occurs in June, in a different part of the country each year.

National Brewery Museum

ABA is currently in partnership with the Potosi Museum Foundation to help with the continued restoration and support of the National Brewery Museum in Potosi, Wisconsin.

Grants

The ABA awards grants to organisations looking to promote the breweriana sector as well as research grants to ABA members.

Journal

The ABA produces a bi-monthly journal. Each 48-page publication includes a number of articles by leading collectors, experts and historians from the sector.
