MacGyver: The Action Figure
MacGyver represents something truly great about 1980s television that sadly we've lost along the way. The near identical plot lines, the easily identifiable tropes, the fact that you could miss half whole seasons before dipping back in and nothing will have changed. It was simply the concept of making the best TV episode possible... about 120 times.
MacGyver seemed to exemplify that- he didn't have KITT from Knight Rider or live in Hawaii like Magnum or own a pet aligator like Sonny Crockett, he just had a mullet and the ability to make things from smaller things. As featured on the packaging, he's managed to make a large explosion, presumably out of several smaller explosions.
This figure is still in its box, somehow the owner has managed to avoid tearing it to shreds and playing with it hence the asking price of $4,700. Wait, what? Really? $4,700? I'll just MacGuyver my own MacGuyver action figure out of several smaller MacGuyver action figures.
