A prototype for a 1964 "Action Soldier" action figure with real flocking on the hair and beard are up for auction at Nate D Sanders. The prototype comes from the estate of Donald Levine, the creator of G.I. Joe. While this one of a kind action figure may look a bit like a hiker, underneath the jacket he's wearing a flight suit, so it seems reasonable to assume this character was intended to be a pilot. That went for a hike. The auction estimate is for $500-750.
